Kálmán Szőcs, Director of the Nádej – Reménység, n.o. presented in his speech a project called “Struggle of Addicts on Drugs”, supported by Interreg V-A Slovakia – Hungary cooperation program. In the framework of this program, J. Selye University will host several permanent professional discussions this year. Interesting was also the lecture by PaedDr. Terézia Strédl, PhD. “Insight into Addictions”, which provided the basis for an expert roundtable discussion organized for experts involved in drug prevention and treatment of addicts. The purpose of an expert roundtable is to map out problems, share effective experiences and strengthen co-operation.

It was also clear that Komárno and the surrounding region are struggling with these problems therefore opening of a professional dialogue is always a necessity.
