On September 29, 2017, our Budapest Megálló Group Foundation hosted a press conference on “Struggle of Addicts on Drugs”.
The event started with the introductory words of the Megálló project manager, Péter Havasi and the project coordinator of the Nádej – Reménység, n.o., Dr. David Szőcs. Subsequently, Arianna Biriki, Director for Communication of the Joint Secretariat, presented the Interreg V – A Slovakia – Hungary Cooperation Program to the press and to the public. Then Dr. Dávid Szőcs, the project coordinator and Péter Havasi, the project manager presented the project, including its objectives, target groups, expected results, sustainability and activities: exchange of support and client experience, drug prevention campaign, education program and infrastructure investment.
After completion of the formal part of the event, the participants could continue in creating connections and relationships with sandwiches and snacks in their hands.
